You cannot be good at your job if you are not first confident that you have the skills and knowledge to complete the tasks assigned to you with excellence. I struggle with this a lot but it truly shows on days that I chose to be confident in what I can do and those days that I get flustered and only can see what I am doing wrong. You can do it, be confident you have the skills!

Happy Thursday!

This week for my thankful list:

  • I am thankful that this time next week ALL my sisters will finally be home and I can see them!
  • I am thankful that this time in two weeks I will be done with my entrance exam test and am hoping all my studying will pay off.
  • I am thankful for legal notepads. They are office supply gems!
  • I am thankful for the people that I work with, it’s been hectic with training and things this week and they’ve made it fun and light.
  • I am thankful for my dog that’s sitting right next to me!

What are you thankful for this week?

If we did all the things we are capable of doing, we would literally astound ourselves.

Happy Thankful Thursday!

This week on my Thankful List:

  • Fall weather, crunchy leaves, and pumpkin flavored coffee!
  • Being able to work in an environment that I love and very much want to be a part of!
  • My sisters who I miss and cannot wait for them to come home!
  • My boyfriend for bringing me coffee to work just because!
  • Sharpie pens because they are awesome!
  • Virginia Tech for having a heavy hand in molding part of who I am today

That’s what’s on my list, what are YOU thankful for?

Yes, you!

You can do it! You have the tools within you to achieve what you want. It may seem like a steep mountain to climb and like you are only chipping away a little bit, but each little chip adds up. Soon you will be at the top looking down at all you have accomplished. Have faith in yourself and trust your abilities. You are better than you think.

Breath, relax, keep going!

I hope everyone is having a great day!

What are you thankful for today?

Super late thankful thursday! I hope everyone had a great day!

Here’s my thankful list for this week:

  • I am thankful for my job. I really love it and it’s reassuring me everyday that I am exactly where I am supposed to be. It’s challenging and I am learning so much everyday!
  • I am thankful for my grandmother who takes time out of her day to help me with things and is always so thoughtful. She’s the best!
  • I am thankful for nutella and pita chips. After a hard day’s work, it is a m a z i n g!
  • I am thankful for hangouts with gal pals.
  • I am thankful for evening thunder and rain storms! There’s nothing better than a summer storm at night!

What are you thankful for this week?

There are hundreds of American’s who wish they could go to work.

No matter how small or unimportant you think your starting place is, it isn’t. It’s an opportunity, a foot in the door to get where you want to go.

If a window of opportunity appears don’t pull down the shade.

Get up and move around! It’s good to take a walk or a lap around the office to recharge and re-energize for the rest of the day! Scientifically, it’s beneficial because when we move around we get more oxygen to our brains and this helps us focus better! So put your mouse, phone, pens, or what have you down and take a chance to enjoy this beautiful spring day (or the lovely fluorescence of your office space!)!
