Make a goal, find your dream then be it. Don’t be afraid to take an opportunity or step a little bit out of your comfort zone. Dare to be greater than you are today because every time you do you are coming closer and closer to ending up where you want to be. Be it, be your passion and live your dream.
When things get to stressful and hectic and you feel overwhelmed, stop. For a moment or a few minutes to take a step back. Take a big breath and relax. Take a minute to reevaluate your plan and what you can do to get assignments or work or whatever done faster and more efficiently. Remember: breathe, you are in control!
It is often said that negativity spreads and has a a bigger influence than the positive. I think this is because our society works in such a way that we are often looking for or even expecting the bad things in life to be there instead of looking for the good in things. I think if we (myself included) make a conscious and deliberate effort everyday to look for the good, thing about the positive, and be a source of light for others, there could be a very big turn around in the way we feel about ourselves and our surroundings. Sometimes it’s not about changing our situation, it’s about changing our perspective.
We are taught from a young age to be nice to others, to treat them with kindness and respect. We are considered good people if we genuinely treat others this way, however, I think we should amend this age old adage. The new one should say: Be nice to others and treat them with kindness but don’t forget to include yourself in those whom you should be kind to as well. You deserve to treat yourself, your mind, and your body with respect and kindness. You are unique and wonderful and it is a shame when to overlook this qualities. Be kind to yourself!
