Other people will tell you that you can’t do things, you can’t reach your goals. Don’t listen to them. They don’t know what is in your heart, they don’t know how hard you are fighting to attain your goal. Know that you have it inside you to reach beyond what others think is possible. Know you can achieve your goal.

if you’re standing outside the fire”

-Garth Brooks

Everyone loves to know they are appreciated now and then. Pay it forward and shower someone in gratitude! :)

You deserve to be respected and to respect yourself. Don’t let others treat you poorly or make you feel like you aren’t worth anything, you are. Even if you can’t see it right now you are. You deserve more than someone saying hurtful things to you or treating you in a manner that is hurtful. Respecting yourself also has to come from within. Don’t look at yourself in a negative way or treat yourself negatively. It’s hard to see the forest through the trees sometimes, but I promise you are worthy and deserving of self respect and respect from others.

You have to share your story to help yourself and to help others. It only kills you to keep it in.
You spend countless hours thinking about things you can’t control. You’re smarter than to waste your time doing that.
Blaire Virden

Do not be held down by what you cannot control.

Find joy in the everyday! Take 10 minutes out of your day to just appreciate the good things that have come your way! It could be as simple a good cup of coffee or as special as a new job offer! Take time to appreciate your daily joy!

We are taught from a young age to be nice to others, to treat them with kindness and respect. We are considered good people if we genuinely treat others this way, however, I think we should amend this age old adage. The new one should say: Be nice to others and treat them with kindness but don’t forget to include yourself in those whom you should be kind to as well. You deserve to treat yourself, your mind, and your body with respect and kindness. You are unique and wonderful and it is a shame when to overlook this qualities. Be kind to yourself!

If we tell ourselves lies and believe them it is easier for us to lie to others. However, if we are brave enough to tell the truth to ourselves we can have strength to be honest with others.

1. It will make you feel physically better. Less anxiety, better feelings.

2. You get to say how you really feel.

3. If they really know you they probably know something is bothering you anyway. This will relieve their nervousness too.

Say what you need to say. Everyone will feel better.

There is always another way. Change your situation entirely if you can or little by little each day. Don’t be stuck, you can always switch something around. There’s always a second option.

Like my grandmother says: Dust is always more visible when you stir it up.
