Be thankful for loved ones and friends in your life. At the end of your life it won’t be about money, status, or superficial things it will be about being with those that love and truly accept you.

Enjoy and be present in every moment when you are with loved ones; friends and family. Be thankful for the precious time you have with them. Things can change very fast so live and love in the moment and be thankful for all your times together.

Yes, you!

You can do it! You have the tools within you to achieve what you want. It may seem like a steep mountain to climb and like you are only chipping away a little bit, but each little chip adds up. Soon you will be at the top looking down at all you have accomplished. Have faith in yourself and trust your abilities. You are better than you think.

Breath, relax, keep going!

I hope everyone is having a great day!

Here’s my Thankful List for this week:

  • I am thankful for warm, sunny days!
  • I am thankful that my sister is home for the week from South Carolina!
  • I am thankful for Mac and Cheese, it is delicious!
  • I am thankful for all the help I have been getting at work from my co-workers, it really means a lot to me!
  • I am thankful for my new notebook, it’s a new way to stay organized.

What are you thankful for today?

In my first week as a post grad I am finding it extremely difficult to do the one thing I have been craving for four years: relax. I just can’t seem to settle down and clear my mind, just do nothing. Maybe it’s the fact that I am used to a high stressed, fast paced lifestyle (2-3 tests a week plus other projects) and that has all come to a screeching halt. I find myself looking to get busy and have no free time but at this current moment until my job starts there is quite literally nothing to do but take time off and relax.

It is unnatural but I am finding it is necessary. I have time to think and do things I want to do. I think this will be a beneficial time to discover hobbies and have experiences that will help me define myself post college. Also, it’s nice to sleep in, go for runs outside, and spend hours over my grandmother’s. It’s good to unwind and take a step back, have a breather. I feel re-energized, recharged, and motivated to hit the ground running once my life does pick up again. In a way doing nothing has motivated my want and need to do everything and dive right in again.

So from someone who is not used to relaxation I say, relax! It’s good for you!

It may be tempting to put yourself first and let others take the back seat. However, it is important to remember that the other people in your life, your friends and family have needs as well. Try to take time to consider their point of view and put them before yourself.

Hi Everyone! I hope everyone is having a great day!

Here’s my thankful list for this week:

  • I am thankful for all the hanging out I have gotten to do with my Kappa sisters this week. It’s been so much fun and I can’t wait to see what adventures we get into post grad.
  • I am thankful for saltine crackers because they are delicious
  • I am thankful that my family and friends are coming to my graduation tomorrow and I get to share that special day with them. It really means a lot to me that they are there to share this special day.
  • I am thankful that I have made it to graduation. It’s been a wonderful four years and I am so excited to see what the future has in store.

What are you thankful for this week?

Literally. As I sit here about to graduate that is the only thing I can think of. Cherish it all, take it all in and hold on to it in your heart. Hug your friends tight, take time to just giggle and be silly, share a secret, live it up. It’s the small things that become the big things. The awkward first encounters between people who become best friends. It’s the dinners, the lunches, and the brunches. It is everything. Cherish it all because someday it will be a warm memory that floods back when you least expect it. A nostalgic tug on your heart that leaves you wishing it was all that easy again. If I have one piece of advice for really anyone in general it is that: cherish each memory.

You have been given a life. Mold it into what you want it to be. Find a goal and shape your life around meeting what you want to accomplish. Along the way collect friends, memories, and experiences to help guide you and put joy into your life. You only have this one life, make it wonderful.

It’s been a very busy day! I hope everyone is having a great day/night!

Here’s my list for this week:

  • I am thankful I got to go hiking the mountains this weekend with the Gent. It was so much fun and the mountains were absolutely beautiful.
  • I am thankful for coffee and creamer, crucial for exam times.
  • I am thankful for my room starting to be packed up! The less work for me at the end of the semester!
  • I am thankful for fun nights with gal pals!

This is my thankful list for this week, what are you thankful for?
