Rule No. 96
rulesforthesouthernlady:
My Grandmother always tells me that worrying is like sitting in a rocking chair- it gives you something to do but gets you nowhere. So think about something else. Whatever is worrying you will work out because it always does. Instead of worrying go fix a drink and enjoy this beautiful life that we get to live.

We may not consciously be aware of this little fact but who has ever said they hated hearing praise and feeling like what they are doing matters/benefits someone else.
Try to make at least...

Sorry for the brief hiatus. Getting back to school, recruitment, and homework has gotten in the way of some crucial thankful blogging. But I am back!

I am reminded of this while reading an online newspaper, there is a family in Catonsville Maryland that adopts Orphan Chinese babies with medical problems and raises money to help get them treatment. The family opens up their hearts and...
Everyday Appreciation
Yesterday, my family was getting dinner at the local diner when a woman walked up to my mother. She told her she had remembered her from 20 years ago and wanted to tell her how much she appreciated how my mother cared for her two twin girls in the hospital all those years ago. My mother is a pediatric nurse and was in charge of over seeing the two premature babies health and recovery. The woman...
